VHF multipath reception

This video captures a great demo of what multipath reception can sound like on FM.  In this case, it was one of the marine safety broadcasts done by the USCG.  It sounds like I was in between 2-3 transmit sites at the time of the broadcast, and despite their best attempts to create syncrony between the transmitters this can still happen.

Luckily, I wasn’t a mariner in distress, just someone with a little free time to listen on the radio.
