MW0ZZK fantastic signal, HR2DMR also on 29 MHz FM

This Welsh station has been booming in here for 30 minutes or more.  This was also my first chance to test this new rig that I converted to 10m back a few months ago – a Motorola CDM1250. 70 watts of power with 64 channels to choose from.

This guy was a little bit more in the noise, but you can see we still made the QSO.  10 FM is a bit of work, but sure is fun!  Check this one too.

I’d give my left nut for that radio.

    What about your right one?

This is a special one here, man. I believe one of the first few ever converted to 10 meter FM. There is a lot more Motorola Maxtrac’s out there (a lot cheaper) that can be dropped to 10 FM.

Sorry, the right one is reserved.

Show me where they are. I’d love to have a dedicated Motorola on 10fm 24/7.
